PONER is the most popular box for weaning chicks by MAINO professional customers, now also available for all our private customers.
The PONER KIT has been specially designed to meet the needs of professional breeders, who asked for a well-made, economical element to be placed directly on the ground, easy to assemble and clean, in which to wean the newborn chicks.
We have therefore created PONER a contained space that is assembled by interlocking and that has no corners, where the chicks could pile up creating conditions of death by suffocation (the chicks closest to the acute areas are crushed by the others).
The PONER KIT allows to obtain the complete box which is composed of four panels obtained from flat sheets of expanded PVC worked with CNC machinery; once they are joined together, they form a single cylindrical element open both above and below, laying one side directly on the ground (see photo) it allows to contain the chicks preventing them from escaping. To keep the CALDO BELLO heater in the correct position, we have added to the project three galvanized metal profiles that hook solidly with the structure of the PONER.
The heating is as always entrusted to our award-winning CALDO BELLO that heats the chicks by hypodermic saturation. An organism that comes into contact with the light emitted by the special RA bulb is saturated with heat and the natural circulation of the blood allows the heat to spread to all parts of the body. CALDO BELLO heats the ANIMALS ONLY! Water, feed and so also the floor, walls, cages, and everything else inert, remains cold! This important factor avoids water evaporation, food fermentation and many, many sanitary and animal health problems.
